Hens and Stags

Colour analysis for hen and stag dos, at your home or venue in London.

Before the wedding

Weddings come with a lot of outfits.

Yours, the wedding party’s, the ones for the hen or stag do, and everyone who’s been told to ‘wear whatever you like’ (which never really helps). Knowing your colours before any of it gets decided makes the shopping easier, and a lot more fun.

Celebrating together

For the hen do or the stag do.

A colour session is a lovely, slightly different way to celebrate together, and I bring it to you: at home, at your venue or wherever you’re staying for the weekend. It works for everyone in the group, from your oldest friend to your future in-laws.

It helps with the outfits too. Once everyone knows their own colours, choosing for the wedding party gets much easier. Nobody has to suit the same shade: there are so many versions of essentially the same colour, and there’s usually one that works for each of you.

Getting married

If you’re the one getting married.

A colour analysis before you start shopping can help with some of the biggest choices. Which white is most harmonious on you: brilliant white, soft white, ivory or cream? Which metals? Which makeup direction feels most like you?

Your result won’t choose anything for you, but it gives you a useful starting point, and a little more confidence in the fitting room. On your own, the Signature Colour Analysis at my studio is the one to book, and you can book it online.

The format

How it works.

I shape the session around your group and your plans for the day. It can be everyone having their own analysis, one at a time, or a shorter session if there are more of you than there’s time for full analyses. Tell me your numbers and I’ll tell you what’s possible.

If the day carries on to lunch, dinner or a night out, plan the makeup for afterwards: anyone having their colours analysed needs to be without makeup or fake tan for their turn.

If you’d like a sense of what happens in an analysis, The Experience walks through it. And if you’re looking for something for the wedding itself, Colour Parties include weddings too.

Practical things

Good to know.

  • Whoever is getting married, and whoever is coming along, you’re very welcome.
  • I come to you: your home, your venue or the place you’re staying. Hen and stag dos aren’t something I can host at my studio. Tell me where and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
  • Light makes a real difference to colour, so a room with good daylight is ideal.
  • If your result will guide the outfits or the wedding-party colours, it’s worth booking before the shopping starts.
  • Coloured hair is fine. If a big change is planned before the wedding, mention it when you get in touch.
  • Nobody has to sit in the chair if they’d rather just watch.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Is this only for hen dos?

Not at all. It’s for stag dos too, and for joint celebrations, with or without the couple getting married.

Can you come to our venue or holiday let?

Yes, I always come to you for hen and stag dos: your home, your venue or the place you’re staying. Tell me where and I’ll let you know what’s possible.

Can the person getting married have their own appointment?

Yes, and it can be the best way round. A Signature Colour Analysis at my studio gives you the full picture on your own, and the celebration can still be a colour session for everyone.

How far before the wedding should we book?

Any time before the outfits are chosen. If you’re shopping for a dress or suits, booking earlier gives you more time to enjoy it.

How long does it take?

It depends on how many of you there are and the format we choose. I’ll include timings when I come back to you.

How much does it cost?

I put a price together once I know your numbers, the format, the place and the date. Asking doesn’t commit you to anything.

How do we book?

Tell me the date, roughly how many of you there are, where you’ll be and whether it’s a hen do or a stag do, using the enquiry form. I reply personally, usually within two working days.

Begin

Tell me about the celebration.

The date, rough numbers and where you’ll be is plenty to start with.
